Kyle Gellis of Warped and Maximillian Fernandez of Casa Fernandez and director at TABSA have come together to produce a blend that transcends what they normally produce in terms of flavor profiles. From Warped’s previous press release “Utilizing AGANORSA’s material from their “vault”, a section of their storage facility under lock and key and home to their most prized material, life was given to this AGANORSA puro.”

Binder: Nicaraguan criollo 98
Filler: Nicaraguan corojo 98 and corojo 99
Strength: Medium – Full
Size: Selección Suprema 5 5/8 x 46
A stunning caramel brown corojo wrapper with the scent of a nice spicy oak. If that isnt enough to make you want to pick it up, the band will pull you in. The design of this band is crazy awesome with a brilliant color design and font. Cold draw has a sharply intense pepper that hits the back of the throat.
First puffs– A creamy black pepper with a soft oak finish. A strong floral spice, almost like Jasmine is present. Nothing like I’ve had before. The draw is nearly perfect.
First third– This spice is really intriguing. It is a mixture of black pepper, allspice, and a spicy floral. It tastes like the smell of incense that they use in church. It adds a completely different level of complexity to this cigar. Not overpowering though, just the right amount.
Second third– The spices have settled a bit and melted together. A very creamy smooth smoke with hints of cinnamon and graham cracker. Just a little sweetness exists at the back of the tongue, it has the taste of marshmallows. The burn is solid and still drawing excellent.
Final third– A mouth numbing full bodied blast of pepper and spices. I do get a little bit off coffee grounds now, adding just a touch of richness to the flavors. Along with oak and earthiness. The burn Line is impressive along with the draw.
(The flavors are unlike any other I have had in a cigar, which is a nice and rare thing to achieve. At points it could have use a bit more of a sweet balance. Burn was great and the draw was solid all the way through.)
Overall this was a fantastic collaboration between two up and coming cigar industry influencing blenders. It is for sure a different smoking experience than any of the previously released Warped offerings currently out there. I would highly suggest (if your a spicy cigar fan) picking up at least a fiver, if not box, mainly due to the limited nature of the release.
