I visited my local B&M Fox Cigar Bar and noticed the newest release from the mind of Robert Caldwell (of Wynwood Cigar Factory). The first thing I noticed was the amazing box art and band on this cigar. Fantastic work on this band, the portrait and paper quality are top notch. The wrapper is a creamy brown but did have some defects, it was tearing in the middle. This happened on two cigars I got, could have just been a bit dry. Overall presentation is a solid though.
First third– The beginning has a kick of white pepper along with nice cedar flavor. After the big start it began smoothing out to a creamy smoke that contains flavors of white pepper and dried fruit along with wood. The smoke production is great and is drawing very nicely.
Second & Final third– In the middle the flavor shifts a bit still with white pepper but now including more earth. The finish of this cigar remained solid in its flavor profile. The Draw remained consistent throughout even burning through the wrapper defects and produced a really nice ash.
Overall a really nice smoking cigar from a cigar company that deserves to be shown respect for the fantastic cigars they produce. I suggest going outside of your normal go to cigars and pick up some the new line of cigars from Caldwell Cigar Co. you will not be disappointed at all.
