I had been looking for this one for a while now. Eagerly I grabbed it right away. It has a beautiful creamy medium brown wrapper with darker shades. There is a spice smell to the cigar and the cold draw confirms that as well. The band is a modified Serie V band, embellished with red and gold, along with a second band that has Melanio Gran Reserva Limitada on it. I used a punch on this and lit it up.

First puffs– I get a huge sharp spice that attacks my senses, this can’t be pepper, probably a cayenne. Beneath is a taste of a creamy wood. The draw is a bit tight and the smoke is light.
First third– Spices are settled now and it is super smooth and creamy. That wood taste is now combined with a kind of floral flavor. Towards the end I get hint of coffee notes as well.

Second third– Great so far, still smooth and the draw has gotten a ton better. There are a lot of flavors. The floral notes have picked up along with the spice.
Final third– A bit nut has entered but most of the flavors have settled down and are fading. What’s left is a nice smooth creamy enjoyable smoke till the end.

Overall a powerhouse flavor blasted premium cigar. There is so much happening in this stogie it’s hard to nail down all of the flavors. This is a must smoke and needs to be experienced. Oliva has created a fantastic cigar.
