Meeting Sam Leccia at IPCPR 2014 was a real honor. There isn’t a more down to earth man in the business. He has perfected the art of injecting purely amazing flavors into cigars, yet stays humble. Him and his wife had their booth that showcased the Luchador (new as of May 2014), and the classic Black & White lines. He was gracious and provided this cigar for review.

The scent on this wrapper is incredible. A sweet and spicy musty tobacco. This has to be the toothiest wrapper I have ever laid eyes on, you will seriously be amazed when holding this cigar. A nice half pigtail cap which is a nice addition. As for the band, you cant get much more creative. A full on Luchador mask that represents the colors of Mexico. After the snip I take a draw, the cold draw has a soft spice to it.
Overall another flavorful powerhouse of a cigar from Sam Leccia. He keeps on proving that he is one of the best out there when it comes to providing a cigar with unique flavor profiles. I higly suggest picking some of these up. This may not be the best cigar for a new smoker, as the start may turn you off. But if you can get past that first burst of spice, well your in for an amazing smoke.
