Emilio La Musa Melete

Author:

Gary of Emilio Cigars is a mastermind, this is a fact. His cigars are under the radar but have some of the best flavor profiles in the business. He was kind enough to send me this cigar to review and I must say it is a fantastic smoke start to finish.

Emilio Melete smoked

First third– A super creamy cedar and chocolate mix with black pepper beneath it. The flavor is outstanding. There are hints of bitter grapefruit and earth notes. Smoking very nicely and drawing great.

Second third– A bit of a bold change with the flavors becoming stronger. Smoked cedar (still creamy), cinnamon, and bitter dark chocolate. The draw is great with solid burn lines.

Emilio Melete final

Final third– The chocolate a cedar are still up front. Black pepper, earth and cinnamon in the back. Creamy still but a bit lite on the strength now, a solid medium.

Overall a fantastic smoking cigar. I let this age for a year and it really made the flavors shine. I highly suggest grabbing yourself a box of these and let them sit for a while to soak in all of the flavors that it has.
