L’Atelier Surrogates Cracker Crumbs

What seems to be a growing trend in the boutique cigar market, reusing previous blend in a smaller vitola makes for a tasty cigar. L’Atelier has taken this concept and produced Cracker Crumbs which borrows from the previous Animal Cracker. L’Atelier’s IPCPR 2014 introduced a full line of smaller cigars in 5 packs, meant to be a premium long filler cigar with 30-45 minute smoke time.

Introduced in 2014 the Young Tabacaleros are a new cigar company that states: “Our aim is to develop cigars that will define the upcoming generation of cigar smokers.” This is a big task to undertake. Although it does help when you are part of the Eiroa family. Julio Iglesias Eiroa and Ignacio Pigna have started their new company and plan to make a move towards the younger demographic of cigar smokers.

I received this cigar from Steve at last years IPCPR and he was super excited about this blend. His past cigars have been nothing short of phenomenal and this follows that same path. This cigar is limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 for each size so 20,000 cigars each. The blend consists of tobaccos grown in the Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua.
